Flowers are usually 2" to 3" in diameter, and can be white, white with red centers, pale pink, deep rose and sometimes a coppery red. Smooth body with well-marked ribs, straight or spiral, notched into warts or tubercles with a more-or-less pronounced protuberance or "Chin" below the areoles. Flowers are large and tubular (only tubular at base, then flare into wide open flower) in pink, white or red.
